Already as a child, every year, I had the chance to spend part of my winter and summer holidays in the Jura. My paternal grandparents had it built in the 80s, having fallen in love with this little "nature" corner. This meeting place of my cousin was a place where it was already good to live. In 2006 when I was just returning to Terminale ES in the North of France, I decided to look for work to… buy my first laptop! So I decided at the time to focus my research on a "seasonal summer job" in the Jura, in Clairvaux les Lacs … working while staying at one of my vacation spots, an interesting concept. So I had the chance to meet the Director of a 4-star campsite there (we didn't call them an open-air hotel yet)… It was my first professional interview and job interview, which necessarily left an impression. Quickly, I was offered, if I accepted it, a position for the maintenance of the 4 sanitary facilities of the establishment, maintenance of the "teenagers" room, cleaning of the barbecue grills of the high-end cottages, among other things. I was then delighted to see that I was offered to work a whole summer when I was not yet of age… a godsend after all.. and then even if the work turned out to be physically demanding, I would have two days of weekly rest: BANCO! So here I am at the beginning of July 2007, putting on my combat outfit 😎 which will follow me all summer: my t-shirt accompanied by its badge; denim shorts; my sunglasses (important-important) and… my RUBBER BOOTS ! As you can see, I was equipped from head to toe ^^: perfect for making holidaymakers smile and being put up by my seasonal friends. I didn't know it yet, but this famous summer season of 2008, which was intended to be anecdotal at the start… was actually going to become the starting point of a beautiful professional meeting, a beautiful friendship, a professional career and great memories to create.
So it was ~ not without laughing ~ that I posed in August 2017, 12 years later, in front of these rubber boots near Antibes.
LESSONS LEARNED: I learned in the field that regardless of the position or role we hold in the company, all the actors in the structure play an important role in the satisfaction process coupled with the customer experience!
